Role: Senior Communications Manager for GM & Clothing

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of Sainsbury’s non-food product PR strategies
• Work closely with marketing and trading teams to create and deliver integrated product-led campaigns
• Drive quality media coverage and influencer content
• Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and asset creation
• Manage PR events, ensuring execution to the highest standards
• Support the Brands That Deliver strategic pillar

• Deliver a clear plan for quality and value distinctive products
• Develop strong senior relationships across Sainsbury’s and Argos commercial and marketing teams
• Monitor, evaluate, and report progress against KPIs
• Manage three PR agencies to meet quality and quantity KPIs
• Have a detail-focused approach to reporting, budgets, and timeline management
• Identify and drive PR opportunities and develop strategic PR plans

More about you:

• Have creativity in asset generation and tenacity in placement of assets
• Possess strong writing, communication and presentation skills
• Be an excellent project manager with a track record of delivering key messages and KPIs
• Have agency or retail experience in retail, fashion, interiors, tech and toys
• Be an expert at story creation and news generation
• Have a strong commercial acumen and budget management skills
