Responsibilities:

• Plans and directs computer-generated graphic designs and visual communications services
• Creates and presents visual concepts for design
• Coordinates with supervisor and other agency representatives to maintain Department’s image; incorporates Department’s style based on given preset standards for font, layout, colors, etc.
• Participates in project development; submits work to clients for approval; provides instruction in use of media graphics
• Prepares requisitions to purchase graphic art supplies, stock images, and/or related equipment
• Serves as lead worker in the creative concepts team by being assigned the more complex projects and providing guidance to lower-level designer in order to achieve deliverables
• Liaising with editors, authors or designers
• Negotiating contracts and timescales
• Undertaking relevant research and generating ideas
• Drawing rough sketches for approval
• Producing final illustrations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Graphic design: 3 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 3 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 3 years (Preferred)

Pay:

$33.00 - $39.00 per hour
