Job Summary:

St John Photography is a high volume school photography studio in Pineville, NC. We are currently hiring for a full-time, temporary position that requires you to work in person at our office. As a member of our team, you will primarily be responsible for using Photoshop and Lightroom to process a large amount of images daily. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and utilize other photo processing software and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process a large amount of images using Photoshop and Lightroom
• Learn to operate minilab chemical printer, sublimation printer, CVP Card printer, and other necessary photo processing equipment
• Ensure high quality and timely completion of all tasks
• Communicate professionally with internal office personnel, customers, and photographers in person, over the phone, and via email
• Answer phones during peak periods
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements:

• Must have excellent Microsoft Windows skills
• Proficient in using Photoshop and Lightroom
• Experience working in a high production environment
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize duties to meet strict deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience retouching people using Photoshop and Lightroom
• Knowledge of teeth whitening, flyaway hair fixing, complexion smoothing, color correction, and different image file formats (e.g. Tiff, jpeg)
