Location: Crewe, United Kingdom

Contract: Full Time, 18 Month Contract

Responsibilities

• Researching customer needs, trends, competitors and developing customer insights.
• Use human centred design processes and systems such as running defined personas through customer journey mapping &defining use case’s with a focus on strategic brand differentiation targets.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies that create opportunities for brand innovation and new industry leading digital and physical executions and mobility experiences.
• Ability to sketch ideas & story boards
• Ability to run cross functional workshops and collate information through information sharing software’s such as figma & miro.
• Create prototype designs and testing with developers to ensure product quality.
• Work cross functionally with all stake holders across the organisation and with specialist companies outside the organisation.
• Extensive demonstrable experience in developing world class innovative concepts from ideation to production aligned to the future automotive cabin space as it goes through digital transformation. This does not have to be all automotive experience but have transferable relevance.
• Strategic approach identifying opportunities to land brand differentiation and best in class orchestration.
• Additional skills in running cross functional UX human centred workshops to generate new ideas & insights.

Qualifications and Skill Sets

• Bachelor’s degree or Masters in creative design, human computer interaction design or similar.
• Working knowledge of UX Design principles
• Graphic & presentation design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Ideally some 3D modelling development experience such as Alias
• Ideally animation, motion graphics and video editing skills
• UX Design tools such as Miro, Figma etc
• Experience with user testing and usability analysis
• A strong portfolio of previous design projects

Salary: £46.00-£52.00 per hour
