Job Overview:

Borboleta Beauty, a leading name in the beauty and lash extensions industry, is currently seeking a creative and self-motivated Independent Graphic Designer Contractor. The successful candidate will work remotely with our marketing, education, and sales departments, bringing our brand vision to life through compelling visual designs. You will play a key role in shaping our brand identity and driving our market presence. This position will be project-based and will involve approximately 15-25 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop an array of graphics that encapsulate the Borboleta Beauty brand, including website graphics, logos, social media graphics, print materials, and marketing collateral.
• Understand and adhere to the Borboleta Beauty brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across various media outlets.
• Collaborate closely with our marketing, education, and sales teams to illustrate Borboleta Beauty’s passion for lashes and its commitment to inclusivity and product excellence.
• Review and interpret creative briefs to understand project requirements.
• Stay current on beauty industry trends and advancements, pushing the boundaries of design while staying true to the Borboleta Beauty brand.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions, delivering completed projects within designated timelines.
• Present design concepts to the team, incorporating feedback to continuously elevate the Borboleta Beauty brand.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a professional design role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and deliver engaging designs that align with Borboleta Beauty’s brand essence.
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and design skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• Must have a portfolio of work demonstrating creative prowess across a diverse range of projects.
