Job Description

Idea Lab Kids offers an innovative educational program designed to instill fundamental STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art -Math), and Culinary concepts in students. Through the use of a proprietary curriculum, our programs create a fun learning environment in school age kids via enrichment programs, and camps. Our project and design based learning allows the kids to experience the Idea Lab style of enrichment that boosts their creativity, expands their imagination and develops essential critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach the children to the best of their ability using the provided curriculum
• Be prepared for all the classes in advance
• Ensure the Safety of the kids in the class and keep the class organized
• DUE to COVID - 19 will have to follow strict sanitation and other safety protocols
• Punctuality is a must
• Dependable means of transportation (Also, must have a valid driver’s license)

Requirements

• Science or Computer science Graduates/ Students (Biology/chemistry/physics) or High school graduates with relevant experience
• Engineering students with relevant experience
• College Students with background in STEM like coding, robotics or science
• At least 6 months experience in instructing/teaching
• Must be able to provide references

Working Hours

The working hours will be 3:30pm to 6:30pm (or 2:45 pm to 6:30PM if picking up kids from school).

Additional Information

• CLEAN DRIVING HISTORY as they will be responsible for picking up the kids from the neighborhod school. NO HIGHWAY DRIVING required.
