What you’ll do

We are seeking a Graphic / UX Designer on a part-time basis to create digital technical illustrations that enhance the learning experience for our customer’s developers. The designer will work with technical writers, in-house designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the graphics accurately represent the technical information and follow Pismo visual design standards.

This role will also support UX/UI design for our developer’s portal website and other developer resources. The designer will collaborate with product managers, in-house designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all elements of the user experience are optimized for a high standard of usability, usefulness, and visual design.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional experience as a graphic / UX designer with a strong portfolio of related projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into graphical representations that enhance educational content.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other designers and stakeholders.
• Ability to take feedback and translate it to actionable solutions.
• Knowledge of design systems and ability to follow brand guides.
