Job Description:

Worship Leader

Duties:

• Lead and facilitate worship services, including selecting songs, preparing music, and leading the congregation in singing
• Coordinate with other musicians and vocalists to create a cohesive worship team
• Provide guidance and mentorship to musicians and vocalists, helping them develop their skills and grow in their faith
• Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and the Director of Worship & Music to plan and execute meaningful worship experiences
• Create an atmosphere of worship that encourages congregational participation and engagement
• Maintain a strong spiritual life, seeking personal growth and development in worship leadership

Experience:

• Demonstrated proficiency in playing a musical instrument (e.g., guitar, piano, drums) and leading worship
• Strong vocal ability with the capability to lead congregational singing
• Knowledge of various worship styles and the ability to adapt to different musical genres
• Experience in mentoring and developing musicians and vocalists
• Understanding of the role of worship in a church setting and the ability to create a worship experience that aligns with the church’s vision

The ideal candidate will have experience in mentoring musicians and vocalists, as well as a strong musical background. Pay: $300.00 per week
