Primary Responsibilities
- Write and maintain complex PL/SQL code to support business processes and data integration requirements.
- Design and develop database structures, tables, views, and functions to support application requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries and functional specifications.
- Optimize SQL queries for improved performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, database performance, and application functionality.
- Write functional specs to document business requirements and user stories.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS concepts and implementation.
- Excellent PL/SQL knowledge. At least 5 yearsโ experience developing complex applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Familiar with responsibilities and problems inherent in parallel, simultaneous development. This includes implementing changes to existing applications within a well-defined scope and adhering to change management controls.
- Experience with GIT code management system.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written including technical documentation.
- Ability to work well with others within a project team.
Desired but Not Required Skillset
- Experience with Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Python.
Requirements
- Candidates provided must be pre-screened to ensure they fully meet the qualifications and experience level requirements.
Work Availability
- Candidate will be required to work on-site 2 days a week during normal business hours 8:00a.m โ 4:30p.m.
- Candidate must expect pre-approval of any compensated overtime or vacation requests in advance.
- Candidate must adhere to clients Holiday schedule unless otherwise approved in advance by client.
- Ability to work in a team environment, and also to complete tasks independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under demanding time constraints.
Salary
- $50.00 - $56.00 per hour
