About us

The Social Media team is based in the Department of Future Students, Communications and Marketing. We manage all the main corporate social media channels of the university. Creating and curating content across the channels to engage our key audiences in line with strategic objectives. Our day-to-day is dynamic, fast-paced and unpredictable, with tasks often being as varied as managing crisis communications situations to filming video content for the latest viral Tik Tok trend!

About you

As a Social Media Officer you will be working in a department of strategists, planners, insight/account managers, creative and technical experts who produce marketing communications, media relations, staff/student and alumni communications, as well as developing the website, social media, e-communications, advertising and corporate events. Your role will be to help develop, create and schedule relevant and exciting social media content across a range of channels that engage our key audiences, from prospective and current students to corporate partners. You will be self-motivated, a creative thinker, with a thirst for self-development. This is an exciting role requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, experience of running social media accounts in a professional capacity, as well as analyzing statistics to produce reports.
