Salary/Position Classification:

• $24 Hourly, Exempt
• 4 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes

Purpose of Position:

This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefitted position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with project team to develop web hosted resources and promote connectivity through visual and written content development.
• Assist in programming and publishing connectivity and project content as needed.
• Digital content will include web site development and module programming.
• In addition to programming content, the Tech. Assistant will proofread all content to adhere to in-house style guide and brand voice.
• Optimize content for keywords that perform in top search results for web content.
• Create and submit regular reports indicating progress on content programmed/created.

Required Competencies:

• Knowledge of American Indian cultural understandings.
• Experience with MS Office, Wix, and other website platforms is a must.
• Ability to represent the grant team and project in a professional manner.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in verbal or written format.
• Must be able to work with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.

Minimum Requirements:

• Doctorate degree required in Instructional Design, Technology, Education, or related field.
• Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Adobe Captivate or Articulate for the creation of Web Based content.
• Preference given to candidates with previous experience working with a Native American focused organization, and/or a not-for-profit organization.
