Client: D for Design Interior Design

Location: Aliso Viejo, CA

Contract: Part-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the owner on design projects.
• Perform on-site measurements as needed.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings for a variety of projects, incorporating components specified by the designer.
• Ensure all documentation is scanned, filed, stored, and/or archived.
• Perform any related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in Interior Design.
• Thorough understanding of the general principles of design and construction documents.
• Experience working in new construction and renovation projects.
• At least 2 years of paid professional experience in drafting, including the use of AutoCAD design software.
• Proficiency in drawing kitchen and bath designs for cabinetry, stone and tile designs, furniture space planning, electrical plans, custom furniture pieces, etc.
• Must be local and available for on-site measurements and in-person meetings as needed.
• Ability to work offsite or in our office with your own equipment and programs.
