Job Description

• Leading task to provide document for new logic implementation and changing logic in the system to developers.
• Understanding the structure of the entire system in charge provides possibilities and plans for further implementations and changes
• Works with BI Analysts to understand customer needs.
• Collects, analyzes and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience and business results.
• Utilizes database and web application technologies to design, develop, and evaluate innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports.
• Perform data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems
• Merge BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications
• Enhance the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and indexes
• Document new and existing models, solutions and implementations
• Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software
• Participate in workstream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of Microsoft BI solutions. Also, in project management estimation process
• Work with BI Data Analytics and customers to understand customer needs and create ad hoc reports to support timely business decisions and project work
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translates these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions
• Conduct research, make recommendations on BI products & services and maintain interface with vendors
• Maintain the quality of data and provide input to the development of data/information quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related field
• More than 10 years of technical expertise (MSSQL)
• At least, for 7 ~ 8 years of BI development (MSSQL BI, SSIS, SSAS): ETL design& development, OLAP Design & Development, Report Development
• Hands on experience supporting Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong analytical, problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Related technical (Microsoft SSIS Engineer): 7 ~ 8 years (Required)
• Related technical (Microsoft SSAS Engineer): 7 ~ 8 years (Required)
• Design and develop Multi-dimensional & Tabular models. (Required Skill)
• Proficient in MDX & DAX (Required Skill)
• Database administration: 6 years (Required).
• Cloud based BI Service experience: Snowflake, Azure Data Warehouse, Amazon S3 Bucket.

Additional

• Snowflake or cloud based data service experience Preferred.
• Bilingual (Korean & English) Preferred but not required
• Handle Dashboards and other BI solutions using Tableau & Power BI, but not required
