RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Run automated and manual tests on state-of-the-art dSPACE test systems
  • Consult with development teams to reproduce, resolve and retest defects
  • Develop test scripts to automate test cases, testing the electric vehicle’s power inverter to exacting requirements
  • Provide traceability of requirements and related test cases.
  • Track, record, report and analyze test results and drive steps from defect to resolution.
  • Lead the investigation of failed test cases for verification of correct test case implementation.
  • Support departmental process and infrastructure initiatives
  • Create and execute release test runs and issuing formal test reports for release of software to production
  • Update existing/formulate new test cases and scripts to meet current product requirements, following established approval process.
  • Update/create internal team process instructions.
  • Support Identification and documentation of the testing environment, plan and strategies.
  • Participate in requirements review sessions to understand requirements, develop effort estimations, plan test coverage based on release date and new content in collaboration with management.
  • Support planning of capacity needs based on motor / power electronics / software.
  • Recommend and implement testing process improvement practices, drive new innovation and bring best practices into the organization (ISO 26262, Automotive Spice).

Pay: $98,333.00 - $102,517.00 per year
