Video Production Assistant

La Jolla Skin Studio is a medical spa that specializes in providing medical aesthetic services. We are a team of highly motivated and experienced professionals who are passionate about providing the highest quality of work to our clients. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and assist with various tasks.

Duties Include:

• Assist in the pre-production phase of the video shoot by setting up the shoot location, equipment, and wardrobe.
• Assist in the post-production phase of the video shoot by editing footage together with our videographer and videographer assistant.
• Assist in the videographer’s workflow by taking photos/videos, writing notes, and organizing files.
• Assist in the videographer’s workflow by taking photos/videos, writing notes, and organizing files.
• Prepare final cut for editing phase by transcribing audio/video, cutting/splicing/editing footage, and adding transitions/effects.
• Prepare final product for social media use by transcribing audio/video, cutting/splicing/editing footage, and adding transitions/effects.
• Prepare final product for distribution to our clients by transcribing audio/video, cutting/splicing/editing footage, and adding transitions/effects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision or under the supervision of a videographer or editor.
• Must be able to transcribe audio/video from video clips accurately.
• Must be able to cut and edit video footage together with our videographer or editor assistant.
• Must have good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good communication skills with ability to write clear reports on camera equipment usage or other situations that require communication between multiple people at one time.
• Must have good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel).
• Must have good photography skills including knowledge of Lightroom + Photoshop + Lightroom Preset Designer (LRD) + Photoshop Adjustments (PAD) + Photoshop Actions (AA).

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
