$40.00 - $50.00 per hour

THE ROLE:

SEMI is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Support person to join our team. You will work with Digital Marketing team to assist with Digital and website design projects including the critical Website redesign initiative for SEMI.

This is a temporary, full-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Director, Digital Marketing at the SEMI Milpitas office. Project expected to last 3 months

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate is a team player, who has a positive attitude and a passion for website UX and design, and able to perform a wide range of website design tasks and has a willingness to learn new skills. You are eager to take the initiative to complete assigned tasks and suggest ideas for design improvements, and have a track record of being punctual, diligent, and meeting tight timelines.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and update designs for pages on SEMI website
• Ensure compliance with new website design standards
• Ensure compliance with SEMI Brand guidelines
• Update and redesign website components

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

• You have helped SEMI digital marketing re-design website to match new design specs
• Redesigned existing website forms with a customer-focused UX

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS/SKILLS:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Great time management and project management skills
• Creative digital design skills in UX/UI design is required

FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OR PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. in Business, Marketing, or related fields
• 3-4 years’ experience with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva etc.
• 3-4 years’ experience with html and CSS for website front-end development
• Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Experience in CMS and Drupal a plus
• Understanding of the electronic industry (a plus) or B2B corporations in general
