Contract: Full-time, Freelance

KidVision Pre-K is South Florida PBS’ education platform which provides preschool teachers online training and tools needed to teach developmental learning goals so children will be prepared for kindergarten based on national criteria. KidVision Pre-K provides support to teachers, families, and children through the production of unique educational content, such as virtual field trips, broadcast interstitials, and a children’s TV Show called, KidVision Mission.

Job Requirements

• Flexible, works independently, and is a detail-oriented team player
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects
• Prioritize work assignments
• Excellent computer/internet skills
• Responsible for maintaining the KidVision PreK website and related online materials
• Produces online and broadcast content
• Interest in and basic knowledge of the preschool education sector is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in writing scripts, editing, and creating video content
• Ability to navigate and employ virtual meeting and event platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Schedules shoots, provides rundowns and scripts, and ensures production stays on schedule
• Must have working knowledge of Premiere Pro for rough cutting productions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong ability to multitask
• Ability to clearly communicate with parents, partners, team members, and supervisors
• Ability to work during non-business hours as needed
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to drive company van as needed
• 40-hour workweek
