ICF seeks a part-time Graphic Designer to support on-site work with one of our Federal clients in Vienna, Virginia. ICF provides this client with support services related to instructional systems design (ISD), marketing, business analysis, multi-media services, learning systems, and training facility management. As a Graphic Designer, you will produce high quality print and web-based graphics, content, and animations.
This role will work on-site daily in Vienna, VA at the client’s offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high quality graphic products that may include illustrations, photographs, logos, SharePoint sites, multi-media animation, and motion graphics. Such products will support program outreach initiatives such as social media campaigns and training activities.
- Develop layouts based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. This may require conferring with client, developing conceptual designs and layouts, providing copywriting and technical writing, creating sketches and drawings, creating typographic layouts and markup, assembling or providing direction for final print layouts, and creating photograph layouts for prints.
- Identify, write, and edit content for web pages and SharePoint sites. This includes using creative writing, designing electronic media formats, and coordinating with the client webmaster and social media team.
- Produce still and animated graphics for live and taped videos using electronic video equipment.
- Provide expertise in graphic design production to program managers.
- Review graphic design deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- 1 year of experience with Adobe Creative Studio products (e.g., Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; InDesign).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with visual, communications, or design focus.
- Experience applying graphic design to instructional design products (e.g., training visual aids).
- Experience incorporating graphic design into video production projects.
- Experience designing graphics for social media accounts, campaigns, and communications.
- Strong communication skills to be the intermediary between creative staff and client, with the ability to command a crew.
- Detailed knowledge of Section 508 requirements as applied to video production.
- Nimble, innovative, and self-driven.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is:
- $70,374.00 - $119,636.00
- Virginia Client Office (VA88)
