Location: Piscataway, United States

Contract: Part Time

Schedule:

• Weekend availability
• Total 4-5 hours with rehearsal

Experience:

• Playing contemporary worship music: 2 years (Preferred)
• Playing as lead musician: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location:

• One location with need for future events

Salary:

• $2000.00 - $250.00 per week

Duties:

• Perform live music for congregation
• Collaborate with other musicians and performers to create cohesive and engaging performances
• Attend rehearsals to practice and refine musical pieces
• Follow the direction of the director and music director to ensure the music enhances the overall production
• Provide input and suggestions for musical arrangements and interpretations

Qualifications:

• Proficient in playing in the piano
• Strong sight-reading skills to quickly learn and perform new musical pieces
• Ability to adapt to different musical styles and genres
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other musicians and performers
• Experience performing in a theater setting is preferred, but not required
• Passion for music and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality performances
