Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, project goals, and business objectives.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for internal web applications that align with the needs of our food and beverage teams and support our food waste reduction initiative.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and enhance designs.
- Maintain consistent branding and visual design standards across all applications.
- Work closely with the development team to provide guidance and support during the implementation phase.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design to continually enhance our products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a mid to senior-level role.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and using project management tools like Jira.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects with a focus on web applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for user-centered design.
- Familiarity with the food and beverage industry or previous experience in a similar domain is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs. using a pushcart
