Job description:

We are searching for a Stage Manager for our productions of Christmas Carol and See How They Run. Future Stage Management opportunities are possible as well. The Stage Manager is responsible for stage managerial duties, including coordination and supervision of crew. They will attend all rehearsals, and are calling the show and operating the light board during a performance.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Experience as a stage manager working in professional theatre, and large-scale musicals and/or touring experience highly preferred
• Degree in Theatre Arts, Stage Management or equal experience highly preferred
• Ability to maintain artistic direction, rehearse understudies or replacements, direct a rehearsal
• Computer proficient (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Qlab)
• Capacity to solve problems and engage in creative thinking to overcome challenges
• Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
• Works well in a stressful environment with many personality types
• Maturity and understanding of the artistic process and excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and diplomacy skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Technical knowledge of safe working procedures

Pay:

Performance Pay is $90/performance (approximately 3.5 hour commitment per performance).

Experience:

QLAB: 2 years (Preferred)
