Job Description

We are a startup sports/gambling podcast in the Detroit area that is in need for a Podcast Producer. We started a year ago and record one episode per week so this role is not time consuming. This is strictly a resume building opportunity. This is a non paid opportunity for experience and to help build a resume for a career in podcasting, radio, or any other form of media. This role requires very basic knowledge of editing and uploading audio/video to streaming services.

Duties

• Edit and upload podcast audio to streaming services.
• Edit and upload podcast video to YouTube in a timely manner.
• Manage and oversee social media platforms including YouTube, X (Twitter), and Instagram.
• Assist in the general marketing and spreading word about the podcast.

Requirements

• Strong background in video production, journalism, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, iMovie or any other software for video editing.
• Proficiency in audio editing for podcasting.
• Ability to produce hour long episodes in a short amount of time.
• Strong project management skills.
