World Relief seeks a part-time Jr. Graphic Designer to join our in-house design team — providing on-brand creative solutions for a variety of uses in digital marketing: social media, website, email, campaigns, presentations, infographics and multimedia projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Sr. Graphic Designer, this person will create visually appealing and on-brand design materials for print and digital platforms, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, newsletters, and event materials.
  • Understand project requirements and ideas.
  • Create designs to specification for digital and print, including: social media, website, email, infographics, presentation decks, and print newsletters.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with various people in the marketing department, fundraising team, and other stakeholders on design projects.
  • Ensure that all design materials adhere to the organization’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
  • Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with vendors for printing projects when necessary.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, take feedback constructively, and make revisions as needed.
  • Manage schedule and competing deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with Canva a plus.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides), and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Works with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to receive art direction and work within an existing brand style.
  • Time-management and prioritization skills amid multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Mature and personal Christian faith.
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities.
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document.
  • A.A. or B.A. degree or the equivalent work experience in Graphic Design or related major.
  • Not more than 3 years of working experience as a graphic designer.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital (social media, websites, video, etc).
  • Willing to learn, ask for help, communicate directly, and engage with a growth mindset.
