Responsibilities:

The Graphic Designer I will work within the Student Health and Counseling Center at Cal State Fullerton, providing artistic and graphic design support for Student Wellness publications, brochures, and websites. Under the guidance of the Associate Director for TitanHEALTH and the Senior Lead of Marketing, Outreach, and Design (MOD), the Graphic Designer I will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and executing various graphic materials for print and digital promotions, on-site digital signage, and web and social media content. This role also involves website maintenance, professional photography for marketing and website content, and providing leadership and supervision to Student Assistants.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent technical experience and coursework.

- Foundational knowledge of artistic and graphic design principles and techniques.

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Proficiency in relevant computer software packages and systems.

- General knowledge of print design, typeface, color, layout, and production techniques.

- Familiarity with copyright laws related to creative properties.

- Background check required.

Salary:

- Classification Range: $3,681 - $6,243 per month (Hiring range depending on qualifications, not anticipated to exceed $3,681 - $4,500 per month).

*This is a temporary full-time position ending on or before June 30, 2024, with the possibility of renewal on an annual basis, subject to funding and program needs.*
