Job Overview

**We’re seeking a Marketing Designer (part-time) to work closely with kencko’s Brand and Marketing teams! This freelance position is for six months to provide for maternity coverage.**You’ll be a key team member, helping accelerate creative iteration with imagery and video, correcting/adding/removing objects from composition, adjusting color and levels, and cropping/exporting assets in different formats for various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Brand Director
• Becomes familiar with brand guidelines, images, components, and overall brand identity
• Design weekly marketing and nutrition emails
• Digitally create concepts and develop layouts for social media.
• Enhance, adapt, customize, and resize imagery and video for paid acquisition channels (Instagram, Facebook, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, etc)
• Work with the Marketing Team to turn insights into creative briefings
• Maintain close and frequent communication with the image and marketing team
• Develop various solutions when post-editing and/or retouching that respond to different teams’ requests and needs

Experience You Bring

• Proven experience and excellent level of editing skills in Adobe Photoshop
• Proven experience in a performance advertising environment
• Experience with Figma and/or other graphic and UX design tools
• Ability to do basic, time and cost-efficient animation
• Previous experience in motion design and video editing is highly appreciated
• A thorough understanding of the Adobe universe is welcome
• Attention to detail is key (an eye for art and composition is necessary to succeed!)
• Eager and fast learner
• Good level of written and spoken English
