We are looking for a Freelance DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in our clients projects. As a versatile DevOps professional, you will be responsible for developing and deploying software solutions, harnessing the power of AWS and various other tools. Your expertise in C# and .NET, as well as your ability to mentor, will be indispensable, especially in regulated industries. Your mastery of AWS services is a key asset that we value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentorship and Coaching: Empower fellow developers through mentorship and skill enhancement.
• Backend Excellence: Leverage your proficiency in C#, .NET, AWS Lambda, EC2, Fargate, and RDS to construct robust and scalable backend systems.
• Database Optimization and ORM: Optimize databases using AWS RDS and the Entity Framework.
• Version Control: Safely manage Git repositories with AWS CodeCommit.
• Collaboration: Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, actively participate in code reviews, and automate CI/CD processes using AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline.
• Effective Communication: Foster effective communication within the team, ensuring that information flows smoothly.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Regulated Industry Experience: Proficiency in ensuring compliance using AWS security services such as Security Hub and Config.
• Design Patterns: Application of API-first principles, adherence to SOLID design principles, and the utilization of AWS API Gateway.
• Automated Testing: Utilize AWS Lambda for serverless testing and benefit from HIPAA compliance for healthcare projects.
• Healthcare Standards: Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and HIPAA standards.
• Database Proficiency: Leverage AWS Aurora for PostgreSQL databases.
• CI/CD Tooling: Utilize AWS CodeDeploy for streamlined and automated deployment processes.
