POSITION OVERVIEW

The Social Media Coordinator reports to the Social Media and PR Manager, reaching new and current audiences through social media and Burn On Demand app to amplify our voice and brand position.

You will work closely with the entire marketing department to communicate Burn Boot Camp’s mission and value proposition across all touch points and support efforts to execute and amplify social media campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, have a depth of working knowledge in marketing, have experience with executing a social media strategy, executing community management, and always deploying excellent attention to detail.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build brand awareness and membership growth through a creative and proactive social media strategy
  • Post all organic social media content across all Burn Boot Camp global social channels, including Bun On Demand, Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, IGTV, Twitter, Linkedin, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Community management – ensure all direct messages, comments, questions, and concerns are answered appropriately and real-time.
  • Own concept to execution of content on all social media channels.
  • Coordinate with copywriter to make sure brand voice is aligned.
  • Create contextual social media content, and at times alongside Production team
  • Create and manage social media content calendar and posting schedule across all platforms in alignment with brand priorities and business goals.
  • Execute real-time social media posting at events, ensuring alignment with brand and strategic goals.
  • Compile reporting and social analytics and use to inform social media cadence and media strategy.
  • Work with Advertising Agency to ensure organic and paid efforts are coordinated for maximum impact.
  • Identify and execute new community activation opportunities to build engagement and fan growth, including user-generated content and ambassador program.
  • Create, shape, execute and manage proactive earned media outreach campaigns
  • Subject matter expert for the Burn Boot Camp ecosystem
  • Travel to events and manage on-site execution on an as-needed basis
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the Marketing team
  • Daily communication with franchisees assisting in social media platform and managing support ticket questions
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify trends and opportunities to amplify brand awareness through Burn On Demand and social media
  • Develop necessary assets needed to support all PR activations such as program briefs and overviews
  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple responsibilities
  • Strong writing/copywriting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong task management skills
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Experience in social media and content creation
  • Experience in optimizing content for SEO, keyword research and website analytics
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proactive, reliable, and organized approach to work
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Nutritional expertise and/or experience working in health/wellness industry
  • Passion for fitness, health and nutrition, enthusiastic about Burn Boot Camp’s mission
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle and journey building principles
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities for varying internal and external partners
  • Experience using Zendesk or other ticket platform
  • Experience in Wrike or other project management platform
