Elegant Music Group (EMG) is a full-service entertainment company offering bands, DJs, live musicians, photobooths, lighting, and event design. Servicing over 1000 events a year, EMG is currently seeking a videographer on a weekly basis.

Job Type:

Part-Time to Full-Time potential (15-20 hours a week)

Compensation:

$30 hr.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will create, film, edit and produce multimedia pieces for EMG to support marketing initiatives including but not limited to social media and website. This person is highly creative and can interpret business needs while supporting the creative goal.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, shoot and edit video content for EMG: live/taped experiences, interviews, podcasts, social media, etc.
• Provide on-set production and talent direction.
• Work with Marketing on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Manage and upload content for our Podcast, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Channels.
• Develop Video Strategy for posting content for maximum SEO and Audience impact.
• Maintain tagging and cataloging of all assets created.
• Direct and Produce video sessions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of video compression and web video standards.
• Owns administrative responsibilities associated with projects including organization of information.
• Will need to work flexible hours/schedules depending on the projects and deadlines at hand - Some weekends will be required.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

• Minimum 2-years professional video editing and production experience.
• Must own professional-grade cameras and lenses.
• Highly adept at video editing software. Graphic design skills a plus.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Premier Pro.
• Experience with motion graphics and Adobe After Effects is a must.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook, Internet applications, and Macintosh operating systems.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
• A portfolio of representative work will be required.
• Ability to submit portfolio/links to work.
