Role Summary
Injects creativity into the work of a multidisciplinary team of designers, product owners & engineers. Shares knowledge & improves design methods as an active member of the team. Uses design thinking to translate the rigid forms of our existing CMS into fresh layouts. Is comfortable translating verbal and sketched concepts into something with form to drive conversations with stakeholders and support the journey from concept to build.
Role Description & Key Responsibilities
- Understands the design restrictions of the Content Management System and designs accordingly; working closely with the build-team to create designs that work.
- Owning the visual identity of the commercial website pages - being responsible for the design standards for the public website.
- The go to for visual craft for stakeholders - providing steer on the guidelines and visual standards.
- Uses the existing UI kit to efficiently address CX issues and / or creates new assets to solve where required.
- Uses their experience and knowledge to reimagine the public site so that it inspires our business customers
- Ideally be familiar with Figma or other related design tools.
- With your project lead, conducting peer reviews and desk-research to understand the wider landscape and identify gaps and opportunities.
- Propose and develop visual designs to support agreed requirements.
- Managing stakeholder feedback.

- We work with stakeholders to build the vision of their product or coverage area and play this back to ensure it’s moving in the right direction.
- We produce adaptable briefs by examining a task through the eyes of both the business and the customer.
- We employ user-centred design methodologies.
