Contract: Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website designs and functionality
• Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with responsive web design principles
• Knowledge of PHP programming language
• Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or Git
• Experience with web services (RESTful APIs)
• Understanding of XML and JSON data formats
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SCSS or LESS
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React Native or AngularJS is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
