Responsibilities:

• Design, Code, Test, Debug, and Document: Developers are expected to design new software components, write code, test it thoroughly, debug any issues, and provide proper documentation. This ensures the software meets business, quality, and operational requirements.
• Unit and Integration Testing: Developers are responsible for creating and running both unit and integration tests to ensure the code’s quality and reliability.
• Microservices with Java: Designing and developing RESTful APIs using a microservices architecture with Java. This implies building small, independent services that work together.
• UI Development with ReactJS: Building the user interface using ReactJS, a popular JavaScript library for building web applications.
• Code Reviews: Participating in code reviews to ensure that the codebase adheres to high coding standards, best practices, and is maintainable.
• Troubleshooting: Collaborating with the team to diagnose and resolve code-level problems efficiently.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies as required.
• Incident Response: Being available on a rotation basis to handle escalated incidents after hours or on weekends, ensuring the 24/7 availability of the platform.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Professional Experience: Over 5 years of professional experience in developing scalable, distributed applications. This indicates a senior-level role.
• Programming Skills: Strong experience in object-oriented programming using Java 8 and ReactJS, which are crucial for the role.
• Framework: Broad experience with the Spring Boot framework, which is commonly used for building Java-based applications.
• Containerization: Experience with containerization technology like Docker, which is essential for deploying and managing microservices.
• Cloud-Based API Development: Strong experience in building cloud-based API platforms or backend systems, suggesting expertise in cloud computing and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Experience: Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), indicating a preference for candidates with cloud infrastructure expertise.
