Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Graphic Designer, Video Editor, and Video Producer, you will be responsible for producing visually compelling video content and graphics for our legal information websites. Your role will involve collaboration with editors and writers, brainstorming creative ideas, and applying your technical skills to produce high-quality multimedia content. This is a hybrid position, requiring your presence in the Eagan office up to once a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing graphics for legal information websites and their social-media channels, including infographics and other web assets.
- Produce and edit video content, ensuring high quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to translate complex legal concepts into accessible and engaging multimedia content.
- Maintain a consistent and professional visual style throughout all projects.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of video and graphic content.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technologies into your work.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong video editing skills using tools like Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premier.
- Basic skills in lighting, sound, and handling recording equipment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and concepts is a plus but not required.
- Experience using Canva, Vyond, and Lumen 5 is a plus but not required.
