About the Company:

We have been members of the Jewelry Industry for over 20 years, and our Jewelry With A Message Collections and Designs are sold through Wholesale Distributors, Retail Jewelry Stores, E-Commerce Sites, Funeral Homes, and numerous other sales channels. Deborah J Birdoes Designs (DJBD) is a Family owned business with the selected candidate working with/reporting to Deborah & Jeano Birdoes, Managing Partners.

Over the last 24 months, we have implemented a planned expansion of the DJB Brand on the Internet & Social Media. These selling channels are extremely important to our future growth and prosperity. To this end, two websites, www.DeborahJBirdoesDesigns.com (Brand Website) & LegacyoftheHeart.com (legacyoftheheart-com.myshopify.com) (E-Commerce) and Associate E-Commerce Websites (Partners.) have been under construction (Each, Approximately 75% completed.). DJBD has plans for a Blog, Integration onto multiple selling platforms, Paid marketing campaigns w/Google & Social Media, are part of the Sales/Mkt Plan.

About the Job:

The chosen candidate will be the E-Commerce & Social Media Manager of a department of 1; them. The duties will include: design, maintain, DJBD’s company websites, Amazon Stores, Blog, Facebook Page, etc. Plan and implement Sales Campaigns, Consult & advise on future expansion of the sites, day to day maintenance, their upgrading and improvement. Creative input on all e-mail, Mail, sales campaigns is expected and desired. The future commission schedule will be tied to the success/failure of these Sales & Marketing Campaigns. DJBD is a small company, which means, as we all do, the person will wear many hats, including Customer Service Rep.

Responsibilities:

• Technical control/maintenance of DJBD Websites.
• Integration and maintenance of stores on multiple selling platforms.
• Long & short term plans to improve the sites’ performance, SEO, Traffic, Coversions, page load rate, and all other measuring analytics
• Anything and everything else necessary to make the sites a success.

Qualifications:

• SELF MOTIVATED . DJBD NOT A PLACE IF YOU NEED SOMEONE WATCHING & MICROMANAGING YOU.
• Strong Organizational & “People” Skills.
• Creative- Graphic Design Skills
• Technical Training, Education, & Experience to Maintain All aspects of DJBD’s web sites.
• Shopify Platform Integration & Operation Knowledge/Experience.
• Understanding and Knowledge of SEO, Mobile Maximization, Google Analyticals, You Tube Channels, High Landing Page Conversion Ratio, and other Organic Marketing & Growth Tools, including Social Media.
• Understanding and knowledge of Internet & Social Media Marketing and the Use and Inclusion of Paid Marketing Campaigns.
• A Willingness to Learn and Educate Yourself on the Above Points You do not Understand or Have the Knowledge of at this time.

Compensation/Schedule:

Initially, Compensation Will be contractual/hourly (Negotiable) and Will Start With 2-3 Days per Week and Progress to a Full Time Schedule.

Permanent Position will offer a competitive Salary and Commission Structure w/Benefits.
