We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Storytelling Specialist - Social Media Content Creator. If you have a flair for storytelling and a knack for documenting and sharing captivating narratives about individual restaurant-level events, market-wide activities, and chain-wide updates and recognitions, this role might be the perfect fit for you.
Position Overview:
As a Storytelling Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting captivating narratives through short videos that highlight the unique aspects of our restaurants, market-wide activities, and chain-wide updates and recognitions. Your work will play a crucial role in promoting our brand and creating a lasting impression on our audience across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Produce daily short videos for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more) that document and tell compelling stories about guests, team members, and other Chick-fil-A staff, products, and events.
- Storytelling: Develop creative, attention-grabbing narratives that convey the essence and uniqueness of our restaurant and market-wide activities while making our audience feel connected and engaged.
- Video Production: Oversee the entire video creation process, from ideation and scripting to shooting, editing, and final production. Collaborate with other team members or agencies when necessary.
- Brand Adherence: Ensure that all content adheres to strict brand standards, maintaining a consistent visual and tonal identity while also seeking out opportunities for innovation.
- Audience Engagement: Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages. Continuously analyze data and insights to refine content strategies and adapt to changing trends.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and restaurant managers to align content creation with overarching marketing campaigns and goals.
- Recognition and Awards: Create videos that highlight updates, recognitions, and awards, often showcasing the achievements and milestones of our team and the brand at-large.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in video content creation and storytelling, with a portfolio of successful social media content.
- Proficiency in video editing software, graphic design tools, and a good understanding of social media platforms.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A deep understanding of the latest trends in social media and content marketing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Enthusiasm for our brand, restaurant, team members, and community.
