Contract: Part Time, Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into design concepts
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
• Ensure websites are optimized for usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers
• Implement and customize content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, or SharePoint
• Incorporate motion graphics and interactive elements to enhance user engagement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages
• Strong understanding of usability principles and best practices
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or SharePoint
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React Express or Node.js
• Knowledge of AJAX for dynamic web content loading
• Ability to create visually appealing designs using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch
• Understanding of visual design principles and ability to create aesthetically pleasing layouts
