Job Overview:

Here at Demhaj Poetry Lounge, we are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our vibrant Poetry Lounge team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for poetry, excellent communication skills, and a knack for engaging an online audience. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our poetry events, fostering a community of poetry enthusiasts, and enhancing the online presence of our Poetry Lounge. We are looking for tech savvy individuals with social media experience. Eligible college applicants are also encouraged to apply, as this position is available to be offered as an Internship as well.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
• Develop compelling and creative content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Craft visually appealing graphics, images, and videos that resonate with our poetry-focused audience.
• Social Media Management:
• Execute day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and moderating online discussions.
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to engage with our community.
• Event Promotion:
• Coordinate and execute social media campaigns to promote upcoming poetry events, open mic nights, and special performances.
• Collaborate with event organizers to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all platforms.
• Community Engagement:
• Foster a sense of community among our online audience by actively engaging with followers, responding to messages, and encouraging user-generated content.
• Identify and connect with influencers, poets, and relevant communities to expand our reach.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Utilize social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics.
• Provide regular reports on social media performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Job Types:

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour

No more than 30 per week
