Job Description:

We are seeking an assistant videographer to film weddings in Reading, PA and surrounding areas. As part of our expanding team of creative storytellers and visual artists, you will work closely with our wedding couples to capture high-quality footage and create memorable content.

Some awesome benefits of joining our team include mostly weekend work, leaving your week open for personal activities, no editing required, and equipment provided on loan if you don’t have your own.

Requirements:

• Must have a portfolio of past work to apply.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have operating knowledge of industry standard equipment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with the editing process is preferred.
• Must have a creative mind and storytelling skills.

Compensation:

We are offering a range of $20-$30 per hour and guarantee 10 hours per wedding. The actual pay rate will depend on experience and whether you own your own equipment or not. As a growing company, there will be opportunities for growth as we expand beyond weddings. Individuals will be paid as 1099 contractors and will receive a 1099 tax form at the end of the year if applicable.

Schedule and Location:

This job is part-time and contract-based, with work primarily happening on weekends. The ability to commute or relocate to Reading, PA is preferred.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in videography.
