Job Description:

The proposed candidate must have experience with the following services:

• Survey Development: Develop surveys to collect input from various user groups in order to collect quantitative and qualitative data.
• User Interviews: Facilitate multiple types of user interviews (one-on-one, contextual, group) in order to learn about users’ processes, attitudes, beliefs, and reactions.
• Wireframe and Prototype Development: Develop wireframes, paper prototypes, and digital prototypes for stakeholder and customer feedback.
• Content Strategy: Assist in developing content for websites and web applications, including guiding content audits, developing content standards, teaching plain writing, and assisting in role and governance development.
• Information Architecture Development: Collect input and data from users to develop the information architecture of a website or system using methods such as card sorting or TreeJack testing.
• Usability Testing: Plan and facilitate usability testing activities to collect quantitative and qualitative data about the user’s experience with a product.
• Accessibility Evaluation and Audit Services: Conduct audits of websites and web applications against WCAG 2.0 criteria to determine non-compliance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting: Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from various activities, and provide formal written reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
• Organizational Change Management (OCM): Provide OCM services to guide organizations through major technology changes.
• Roadmap Development: Develop roadmaps for digital transformation projects using expertise from the above workstreams.

Requirements:

• 7 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in the listed services
• Experience with various usability testing methods and technologies
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 criteria and accessibility standards
• Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills
• Experience in organizational change management
• Ability to develop roadmaps for digital transformation projects

Other Information:

• Job Type: Contract
• Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
• Compensation package: 1099 contract
• Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in Olympia, WA 98501
