Job Description:

Shelby Publishing, a food trade publication based in Gainesville, Ga., is seeking a variable part-time print and digital media advertising designer (Mac-based) with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite and Web/html. Must be a team player, highly creative, detail-oriented and well organized. This is an on-site position in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines focused on the latest news in all aspects of the supermarket industry. You will be assembling content for online and print products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field (preferred)
• Two to three years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient with Macs and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with both print and electronic media
• Knowledge of Magazine Manager, Critical Impact, and WordPress is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Time management and organizational skills
• Comfort level handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
• Portfolio of designs
