Job Description:

Dance competition seeking an amazing videographer to capture dance routines from a fixed location during all performances. All necessary equipment will be provided. Position is seasonal, February through May, and will require weekend travel; Friday through Sunday night with occasional Monday morning travel. Travel expense, rooms, and food are provided.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and take down all event equipment.
• Setup and take down all video equipment and assist other team members.
• Logging and capturing all images with provided equipment.
• Must be familiar with camera settings, smooth movement, and white balancing.
• Understanding of HDMI, SDI cords, and live streaming.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment as well as caring for and respecting company equipment.
• Self-Motivated.
• Cooperating with teammates and ability to take direction from Show Managers.

Qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
• Able to adapt quickly, manage stress, and work long hours.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
• Experience shooting video of dance or motion sports.
• Must have artistic ability to be able to compose a shot, understand framing, color, and lighting to create a visually pleasing video.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• Must have a valid government-issued ID or Passport.
• Must be knowledgeable of video equipment including: Sony XD Cam PXW-Z190 Series, gaff taping wires, Apple Computers, and camera risers and platforms.

Additional:

• Knowledge of dance is beneficial but not necessary.
• Reliable transportation.
• Can get to a major airport.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
