Job Description
The Graphic Designer, AIM, is responsible for creating and producing graphics and visual assets for ACOG’s Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) materials and social media channels. This includes developing creative ideas for digital and print assets to support ACOG’s revenue, mission, and brand goals. The position is grant-funded until 08/31/2027.
Responsibilities include:
- Create digital graphic designs for various platforms including digital ads, social media, email, and websites
- Create infographics and presentation graphics to transform data and ACOG content
- Create short motion graphics for email and social platforms
- Design print materials including direct mail pieces, brochures, and flyers
- Oversee production of print-ready materials
- Adhere to ACOG brand standards and identity
- Generate marketing concepts and design ideas for campaigns
- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Five years’ experience in graphic design or visual communication for digital and print assets
- Strong knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop in a PC environment
- Demonstrated understanding of digital design principles and responsive design
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Able to collect/understand requirements and explain design choices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with health or medical sectors or associations preferred
Additional Information
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $41.00 - $44.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 20 per week
