Job Description:

The Graphic Design Assistant will work closely with Morehead’s graphic designer to produce assets for print, online, and special projects, including but not limited to brochures, digital ads, t-shirts, building signage, etc. Depending on skill level and interest, there is also the possibility of assisting with planetarium show production, exhibits, and motion graphics.

Requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

• BA/BS in graphic arts, fine arts, English, or related field preferred.
