Videographer & Editor (On-Call) - Job Overview
Responsibilities for Videographer & Editor
- Working with our creative team to get deliverables made in time for necessary timelines to be met in conjunction with campaign, product & event launches
- Responding quickly to tasks and providing updates on where outstanding projects stand
- Maintaining a respectful work environment
- Responsible for all aspects of the edit including sound design, visual effects, pacing, and motion graphics
- Work closely with the creative team to optimize the video for retention and entertainment value
- Manage files & create backup of projects
- Working directly with our local team members here in Cherry Hill, NJ to film footage that can be re-purposed for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
Requirements
Required Skills for Videographer & Editor
- Great communication skills - written and verbal
- Can work independently and is driven by results
- Understanding of Google Workspace Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Advanced understanding of the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
- Excellent at receiving and implementing feedback
Desirable Skills for Videographer & Editor
- Knowledge and interest in Internet trends
- Knowledge and interest in inspirational, motivational & mental health content
- Understanding of & interest in YouTube & TikTok
Qualifications for Videographer & Editor
- Good people and communication skills
- Organized (type A!) and hardworking mentality
- Attention to detail with a drive for high-level results
- An eye for engagement-worthy content
- Flexible to work on weekends and evening hours when necessary
- Excited to be able to focus on filming, editing and digital content creation, as well as being involved in the storytelling and production behind an up-and-coming e-commerce company with a unique story & mission
Additional Information
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
