Job Description

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Freelance Designer to join our growing team! We are looking for an explorer in search of our clients’ next big discovery! We’re an agency built on the belief that there is an ocean’s worth of innovation to explore that will enable us to bring our clients creative business solutions that can shape the future of their brands.

Responsibilities

  • Concepts and Executions: Develop and execute creative concepts that align with client briefs, objectives and brand guidelines. Produce quality visual designs for various platforms, including print, digital, and experiential.
  • Collaborative Workstyle: Work closely with integrated teams, including art directors, copywriters, and project managers, to bring design concepts to life. Collaborate effectively to ensure timely and relevant sharing of visual assets.
  • Brand Building: Contribute to the development and evolution of visual identities for Genesis Brand. Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design assets and channels.
  • Visual Communication: Create engaging designs; using branding, logos, animation, digital, illustration and graphic techniques. marketing collateral, presentations, and digital media.
  • Stay Fresh: Awareness of design trends, industry innovations, and AI/emerging technologies and their application in the marketing landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Visual Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with emerging design trends and technologies

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $135,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: experience, training, transferable skills and client.
