Job Description:
Curriculum Associates is seeking a talented and collaborative Senior Graphic Designer to bring engaging and innovative design to their portfolio of print curriculum products. The Senior Designer will work independently and with the internal design and editorial teams, as well as key stakeholders, to develop, produce, and manage compelling visual designs from conception to completion. They will be responsible for creating educational experiences and resources used by millions of students nationwide and working towards addressing issues of inequity in education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or comparable experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in K-12 education, children’s publishing, or media (Mathematics focus preferred)
- Experience developing and implementing product-specific visual design plans, including prototypes and production
- Expert knowledge of print design process, including layout, typography, composition, technical art, and illustration
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of prototyping and collaborative tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Mural) and willingness to explore new tools
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
Other Information:
Location: Remote USA or Brooklyn, NYC or Billerica, MA
Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour
Benefits: Eligible for medical coverage after 90 days, paid holidays, and accrued sick time
