Job Description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. They will create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms and monitor and respond to comments and messages. The Social Media Manager will also analyze social media data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across digital platforms. They must stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Proficient in using social media management tools (such as Hootsuite)
• Strong photography skills for capturing high-quality images
• Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track social media performance
• Basic video editing skills for creating engaging video content
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles and advertising techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Additional Information

• Location: Knoxville, TN
• Must be willing to travel to Oak Ridge, TN and Kingsport, TN for content
• Brewery and restaurant experience is a plus
• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $16.75 - $17.67 per hour
• Expected hours: 20 per week
• Benefits: Flexible schedule
• Schedule: 4-hour shifts, choose your own hours, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
