Job Description

This role is based in the United Kingdom and requires all normal working days to be carried out in the United Kingdom. As a Middleweight UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing compelling web journeys and software applications that create seamless customer experiences across desktop and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders such as UX designers, product owners, researchers, digital experience managers, and developers to ensure great digital experiences. Your responsibilities will include providing pixel-perfect designs, problem-solving, producing hi-fidelity UI, helping colleagues with visual designs, and participating in ideation and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a passion for visual design and experience in designing customer-facing digital applications. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and data-driven environment and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. The key skills and qualifications we require are:

• Experience supporting UCD processes and creating materials for user testing
• The ability to work with a disciplined UCD approach and present work with rationale
• Understanding of user research and its impact on design solutions
• Experience creating solutions that balance customer and business needs
• Proficiency in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and visual design
