Job Description

Join us as a Middleweight UI Designer on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for designing compelling web journeys and software applications that create seamless customer experiences. You will collaborate with stakeholders including UX designers, product owners, researchers, digital experience managers, and developers to ensure great digital experiences.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing pixel-perfect designs to meet customer needs and business objectives
• Turning customer insights into designed digital experiences
• Producing hi-fidelity UI to define visual language, design standards, patterns, and principles
• Working closely with UX designers to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Participating in ideation, brainstorming, and critic workshops

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A passion for visual design
• Experience designing customer-facing digital applications and products
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting User-Centered Design (UCD) processes
• Ability to present work with rationale
• Understanding of user research and its impact on design solutions
• Ability to combine customer and business needs in design solutions
• Experience using Figma and contributing to design systems
