Job Description

Hatcher Digital is hiring several social media videographers and photographers for a remote contract role. The videographer will be responsible for shooting video footage and still imagery for social media platforms for various clients. They will work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure that the content aligns with the clients’ branding and is delivered on time. The video, audio, and imagery will be sent to the editing team for processing. The role offers professional growth opportunities and scaling compensation over time.

Requirements

• Video Production experience and shooting video skills
• Must have an iPhone 15 (or comparable) as our LUT is designed for iPhone’s color space
• Understanding of lighting and audio capture and ability to set up tripods
• Proficiency in using camera equipment
• Must have a flexible schedule within reason
• Experience with video editing software a plus (e.g. Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X)
• Strong creative and visual storytelling abilities
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Must have a working vehicle in order to arrive to shoots in a timely manner
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Communications, Journalism, a plus but not required

Additional Information

This is a remote contract role that requires the videographer to live in or near Wasilla, Alaska. Hourly compensation will be provided. The role offers professional growth opportunities and scaling compensation over time.
