Job Description:
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who is passionate about social media and can create engaging content for Imagine5’s channels. This position can be done remotely or in person in San Francisco, CA.
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable about the climate space
- Up-to-date with new social media best practices, trends, and platforms
- Ability to write captivating content and create high-quality visuals
- Experience managing social media channels professionally
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with influencers and content creators
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in video content distribution and engagement
- Energetic, flexible, and helpful attitude
- Strong affinity with working for a charitable organization and a personal ambition to make an impact
- Experience with creative tools such as Sprout Social and Figma

About the role:
This is a temporary position of 30-40 hours per week for an experienced Social Media Manager. The role involves managing Imagine5’s social media profiles, planning and creating content, collaborating with content creators and partners, moderating social media channels, optimizing channel performance, and supporting partnerships.
Other Information:
- This role reports to the US Managing Director based in San Francisco, CA and the Director of Storytelling based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- Imagine5 has offices in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and San Francisco.
